BOUTIQUE

Adelaide Fashion Festival is known for their range of events, from showcases, tours, markets and Q&As (just to name a few). However, there is no excitement to match that of which comes from guests and VIPs to a Runway Show, and this was definitely felt amongst the crowd waiting for the doors of the BOUTIQUE 2014 Runway Show to open.

Held at Adelaide Studios on October 24, BOUTIQUE presented by Energy DNA was the largest event in this years AFF, featuring up to 30 local boutiques. Hosted by co-producer of the night - Filip Odzak and Glam Adelaide's very own Kelly Noble, guests were whisked into an atmosphere that would separate Boutique from all other AFF events. With witty banter between the hosts, a switch up of Adelaide's hottest DJs throughout the night, pop up bars by Botanic Bar providing delicious cocktails, and a taste of Swire & Noble Estates new Silver Collection, and thanks to Glam Digital, a QR code on screen allowing guests to shop the looks directly from the runway, BOUTIQUE definitely left their mark on AFF 2014.

To help portray BOUTIQUE's purpose to support our Adelaide retailers and shop local, Finesse Models strutted the hottest looks down the runway, along side Georgia Bess Varcoe - the gorgeous face of BOUTIQUE. The runway also had a visit from Miss Molly Morphine and her Follies dressed in Studio.15 Kaftans.

The night was definitely one to remember, and a stand out event for AFF 2014. Congratulations to all those involved in creating such a successful show, and thank you for introducing me to some amazing new stores to shop incredible pieces this SS14/15.

2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival is presented by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters and The Parade, Norwood.
